Two buses and a trailer crashed along a highway in a northern Mexican state killing at least 12 people.
The accident happened when the two commercial passenger buses were parked along the side of the highway and a semi-trailer carrying glass smashed into one of them, causing the first bus to hit the second.
Local media reports differ on the number of people killed, ranging from 12 to 19. The local newspaper ‘El Diario’ reported that, the state coordinator for the Red Cross said 16 seats containing human remains were found.
‘El Diario’ also reported that witnesses said, the emergency exit doors of the bus did not work, trapping some passengers inside.
