15 Militants killed in South Waziristan

WANA, Pakistan: 15 Militants killed in South Waziristan, Security forces have killed 15 militants in fighting the ongoing offensive in the tribal region of South Waziristan. Three security men also were martyred in the struggle.

The militants have suffered heavy casualties in renewed fighting in Shakai, Shenwam and Silwashne areas of South Waziristan, sources said. The forces have been key militant hideouts in the region.

The troops were also shelling at Taliban positions in tehsil Ladha, Sararogha and Makeena.
