3 Terrorists Detained in Swat: ISPR

ISLAMABAD: One soldier was martyred in South Waziristan agency, while the security forces apprehended three terrorists, including a suicide bomber-trainer from Swat during the last 24 hours of the operation.
In Swat, forces cleared area around Kokarai and successfully established link up at Jambil, while apprehended local terrorist commanders Akbar and Saleem and a suicide bomber-trainer Abdul Rehman. A prepared suicide car and rickshaw were also recovered from Kokarai, claimed a release issued Sunday by ISPR.
On a tip from locals, security forces recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition including IEDs from a graveyard in Garai, 4 KM north east of Shamozai.
Forces also secured areas around Khazana, Zarra Khela, Gamkot, Chalera, Rangeela, Shah Dheri, Maira Band and Garai in Swat and commenced search operation in surrounding areas of Mangalton.
Meanwhile, in South Waziristan agency, a non commissioned officer of Pakistan Army embraced shahadat when the militants attacked on a security camp at Tanai Fort.
Security Forces successfully conducted road opening operations on Wana-Khamrang road.
Terrorists training centers and hideouts, including arms and ammunition dumps, at Ladha, Makeen and Sararogha were also targeted by the jet planes.a
