ISLAMABAD: Interior Affairs Advisor to prime minister, Rahman Malik has said that suicide bombing in Sindh and Balochistan has been brought to an end, while nearly 40 key-extremists including one Al Qaeda leader have been arrested.
Rahman Malik dispelled this impression that the United Arab Emirates (UAE)’s foreign minister came to Pakistan for playing the role of a mediator between President Pervez Musharraf and the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP). He said that he would be meeting his US counterpart, high officials including different leaders, while accompanying the prime minister during his US tour. He further said that he would be taking them into confidence about the recent Pakistan strategy against terrorism and extremism.
