Altaf Hussain Condemns Clashes in Gojra

LONDON: Quaid Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain, deploring strongly the onslaught on a minority community in Gojra, a tehsil of Toba Tek Singh, which left many women and children injured and torched their houses, has asked government for the early arrest of the culprits involved in the offense.
Through a statement released from London, he termed the incident as an instance of inhumanity and brutality adding that none who believes in welfare of people belonging to minority community can support such kind of menace.
Altaf Hussain urged upon President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani for assurance the safeguard of the lives and property of public.
