American Idiot is a single act, by Sung, on the stage. Exhibition is to adapt the concept album to Rock Band on the green of the same name. After running the Berkeley Repertory Theater in 2009, it moved to Broadway, beginning previews at the St. James Theatre March 24, 2010 and was officially opened on April 20, 2010. Green Day does not appear in production, but he found the band on stage.

The exhibition opened in the mixed positive reviews from critics, but I got rave all-important idiot from New York Times.American 2010 and won two Tony Awards: Best scenic design of the musical Christine Jones, and best lighting design for the music for Kevin Adams.
