LAHORE: Pakistan cricket team’s famous all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi said Tuesday that the atmosphere in dressing room of current Pakistan cricket team is not an ideal one for senior players as they are not paid the respect they deserve.
In an interview he said that he was unable to reveal his reservations he had regarding junior players’ behavior as he was bound with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) central contract.
However he urged that the senior players should be respected.
There are only three match winning players in the team who should be consulted during the matches but nevertheless it is not observed in reality, he added.
He said that captain only consults him as he is in form.
