Auto Repairs

While it is by no means definite where Life itself originated, individual species can constitute healthy conversation topics. The swan and the goose can boast being able to traverse both terrain and water while being in awe of the speed of the cheetah. But no-one is likely to dispute the argument that it is the human race that has had the most impact on this planet. The Copenhagen summit is a perfect example of this – and the furore it has spawned can only be resultant of the anger people feel at the price that must be paid for both survival and prospering.
It would appear something of a bitter irony that the more able and accomplished a species becomes, the harder its life becomes (in the present or in the future). But the fact that the ongoing debate about the argument even exists, is indicative of a trait that humans possess above just about all other animals: that of intelligence, and all its representations, like interactivity / connectivity, creativity, religion and engaging argument. We still celebrate the invention of the wheel, the prevalence of whose use we are reminded of every single day by the sight of vehicles in motion and of other machines that incorporate some kind of clockwork mechanism. And throughout the millennia we have evolved to the point where considerations related to technical maintenance and statistics are common to virtually all of us. The web site Automotix constitutes just one of countless pieces of evidence of such an observation.
History has documented the details of some highly compelling past events indeed. The Great Plague of London is quick to outline the truth of the terrifying threat posed by rats (although why they are always attracted to filthy areas and seem quite happy to dwell in sewers, just like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, is anyone’s guess). Accounts of the Crusades clearly tie religion to war. And let’s not forget the Golden Lesson of the Second World War: “those who forget the past are destined to repeat it” (remember the nuclear bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki?).
But we would all do ourselves and our fellow men a favour to consider the historical implications of our own day-to-day activities as well. Like motor vehicles – as great as the invention is, they are very dangerous (drink driving kills, after all). So auto repairs / maintenance is always a very important thing, and the site Automotix keeps records of this, to a certain extent.Examine to your heart’s content the repair records for different makes of vehicle reported to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration; all so quickly and from the comfort and privacy of your own home!
