Ball is Now in Zardari’s Court: Shahbaz Sharif Ball is Now in Zardari’s Court: Shahbaz Sharif, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said the PML-N has informed President Asif Ali Zardari, on his position on Amendment 17 of the Charter of Democracy (COD) and other constitutional issues, and now the ball is in his court. Inaugurating the sixth Conference of buffalo in Lahore, CM said that the talks were the beauty of democracy and must continue. “We want to strengthen democratic institutions and are willing to take all democratic measures for this purpose,” said CM.
Earlier, the meeting with high hopes and expectations between the two main parties of Pakistan (PPP and PML-N) ‘s leadership ended without progress yesterday.
Talking about the security of schools CM noted that the school administration has millions of rupees to the charges and would have to make arrangements for the safety of children. “We will take tough measures against schools that do not comply with security measures at all costs. The school administration is responsible, even if a child scratches,” he added.
Moreover,Nawaz meeting as successful and enjoyable. “The meeting met the expectations of people and problems are resolved in it. A further meeting will take place before developing a strategy on the 17th amendment and cod,” Gabool claimed.
