BANNU: Unidentified miscreants fired several rockets at the security check post and destroyed it. Also, the situation in the limits of Basiakhel in Soorani area of Bannu on Wednesday. The attack was soon retaliated by the security forces and police.
It should be mentioned that the extremists blew up the check post in Shek Lindak yesterday.
The law and order situation in Bannu is aggravated for several days now, where myriads of people have been killed and abducted and various check posts have been destroyed.
Meantime, the security forces pounded with heavy weapons the fort of extremist commander Malik Hashim in Sarokali area of tehsil Shabqadar in Charsadda.
