Bomb Blast Kills 26 In Orakzai’s Cattle Market

HANGU: Dozens of people are feared dead and many wounded in a deadly blast at Orakzai tribal agency,
Reports said the explosion occurred at a cattle market in the Darmela area of the Orakzai tribal area, bordering Afghanistan.
According to initial reports, dozens are feared dead and wounded in the incident.
Nature of the blast has not so far been ascertained.
Rescue operations have been kicked off and those injured were ferried to Kohat and Hangu hospitals.
Orakzai is believed to be a gathering place for many al-Qaida and Taliban fighters, including militants fleeing an army offensive in the South Waziristan tribal area.
Pakistan has suffered numerous bombings over the last few months, many of them apparently in retaliation for the army operation.
Another blast
There are also reports of another blast in Kaka Khail area of Khyber Agency.
More than 10 people are reported killed in the blast occurred in center of a banned organization Lashkar-e-Islam.
A key commander in also said killed in the blast.
