Breast Cancer Awareness month, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in the United States, other than skin cancer. It is the second leading cause of cancer death in women, after lung cancer. In 2009, there were 192,370 new cases of invasive breast cancer and there were 40,170 deaths.

So October means it is national Breast Cancer Awareness month.
