Bum Bum Bole Movie Rev
iew, Bum Bum Bole directed by Priyadarshan and starring child sensation Darsheel Safary may have the movie goers hoping for some outstanding experience but reality is rather disappointing. An adaptation of the well acclaimed Iranian film ‘Children of Heaven’, the movie tries to make itself a memorable one, but the attempt seems to yield little results.
The story of Bum Bum Bole goes like this: Khogiram [Atul Kulkarni], and wife [Rituparna Sengupta] live in terror struck region with their kids Pinu [Darsheel Safary] and Rimzim [Ziya Vastani]. Despite financial problems, they manage to send their kids to reputed school but the children find it hard to match the standards. Things get worse as Pinu misplaces his sister’s school shoes and now should get her a new pair, but how? It is then that he comes across an opportunity and readies himself for the Interschool Marathon.
The beautiful story could have been made into a wonderful film, but falls flat as it is stretched beyond requirement, with a disappointing climax. Atul Kulkarni and Darsheel give stunning performances while Ziya steals the show and is a feast for the eyes. Rituparno’s character has little significance. Despite excellent cinematography and good songs, Bum Bum Bole does not deserve to be given a rating better than just average.
