One of the suspects in the Arushi Talwar murder case, the Talwars’ compounder Krishna’s bail plea will come up for hearing in a Ghaziabad court on Monday (June 30). Krishna was remanded to 14 days of judicial custody on Friday and his bail application was turned down for technical reasons.
If Krishna’s bail is rejected again, his lawyer is expected to move a district court and ask a special court to hear his bail plea. Krishna was the prime suspect in the case, until he named the Durranis’ domestic help Rajkumar during interrogation.
However, Arushi’s father Dr Rajesh Talwar continues to be the prime suspect in the case and will be produced in court on July 2nd, when his judicial custody ends.
Earlier, during a narco test Krishna had revealed that he could lead the CBI to the mobile phone and khukri — believed to be the weapon used in the double murder of Arushi and Hemraj.
