CH Shujaat Confirms Contacts With PPP, PML-N, Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Q is still in contact with both the PPP and PML-N for a possible political alliance, PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said Monday.
The statement comes after the Defence Minister Ahmed Mukhtar ruled out the possibility of any alliance with the Q-League.
Talking to newsmen, Ch. Shujaat Hussain said that he does not foresee any change in PML-N government in Punjab.
Hussain rejected the reports stating that Nawaz Sharif has approached him to discuss the possibility of an alliance between the two parties.
He said the former President Pervez Musharraf had no intention of joining the PML-Q or any other political party.
Shujaat called upon the government to convene an all party conference to discuss the country’s counter terror policy.
