Daniel Sturridge may have hit his first two senior goals for Chelsea in the weekend hammering of Watford in the FA Cup third round but it was the side’s collective performance that really pleased him.
He also feels that he and other youngsters at the club are beginning to show that they have the ability to compete for places with senior players.
