Chetan Bhagat and his works

Chetan Bhagat it seems is cashing in on the hype and the hoopla created on the film adaptation of his bestsellers ‘One night at a call centre’ and ‘Five Point Someone’, no wonder the author came calling to the capital along with Atul Agnihotri and Gul Panag to release its Hindi edition by leader of the opposition L K Advani.
L K Advani, “Today I am especailly happy to be here amongst all of you’ll, and it is with great pride that I stand here and congradulate Chetan for his works.”
Chetan Bhagat, “Todays book launch is bigger than the English book launch of my book ‘One night at a call canter’, we had politicians, Mr. Advani, the film actors, and the director, and we took a lot of effort to make this event happen because I can’t let it be neglected, it’s a very important language for my country.”
Perhaps it’s perfect timing for both Chetan and director Atul Agnihotri to promote the film ‘Hello’, that has not been able to get the cash registers ringing at the box office.
Chetan,” When the book was about to come out, the publisher felt like we should do it the same time as the film, because it will ride on that, there is no harm in it, because I think hindi books need a push.”
Atul Agnihotri, “It’s the universal appeal of the book that’s taking it forward, I think this event is totally Chetans victory and it’s Chetans good work going forward.”
Well, let’s see if this book release can help draw audiences to the theatres, who are otherwise not in the mood to say ‘Hello’ just yet.
