Chief Justice Takes Suo Motto Notice Of Wife-Immolation Case

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chouhdry has taken a suo motto notice of wife-immolation case in Islamabad.
Naziran Bibi of Islamabad has written a letter to the chief justice and informed him that her husband has burnt her full face and half body by throwing acid over her and registered an FIR of the incident against a man named Javed. She told the chief justice that the man has nothing to do with the incident.
The chief justice has ordered the IG Punjab to present complete report of the incident within two days.
The chief justice has also taken suo motto notice on the request of Zainab Bibi from Peshawar and asked IG NWFP to submit report about her missing husband within a week. SAMAA
