Chris Cuomo Leaving Gma updates :- Chris Cuomo is leaving the nation’s second top-rated morning program Good Morning America.
Cuomo is in active discussions with ABC News brass to become the co-anchor of ABC’s long-running “20/20″ and have an expanded role at ABC News. The slot next to Elizabeth Vargas on “20/20″ has been open since John Stossel left for Fox.
Word of Chang’s move into the news anchor desk comes as ABC is prepping for Diane Sawyer’s departure from “GMA” on Friday.
