ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Clocks To be Turned Back Tonight, Pakistan officially clocks turned one hour daylight saving time ends at the stroke of midnight tonight.
The DST was carried out to conserve energy to move the country growing deficit of electricity.
Summer time is used to save energy by extending daylight, thus reducing the need for artificial light, air conditioners and other appliances.
The government had decided to keep daylight savings until 31 October. The change had put Pakistan six hours ahead of GMT.
