Cricket Lovers Stage rally in Support of Pakistani Team

For the time after drama of match-fixing surfaced, cricket fans in Lahore staged a rally in support of Pakistani players. Fans were of the view that players were real heroes, they cant earn bad name for the country. Young cricket lovers and civil society members took to streets in Model Town Lahore and shouted slogans in support of Salman Butt, Wahab Riaz and Muhammad Amer. They said that players only play cricket and allegation was propaganda against Pakistani team. They said that a conspiracy was hatched to defame Pakistani cricketers and British media was also part of the conspiracy.
