Crude Oil at $80 Per Barrel, Oil rose toward $80 in international market on final day of year, due to betterment in US economy. US crude for January delivery rose 50 cents, to $79.78 a barrel. London Brent crude rose 22 cents to $78.25. The decline in crude stocks of the world’s top energy user over the past two weeks is a direction of increase in production.
