DATA DARBAR:Strike announced against Lahore terrorism

LAHORE: The Sunni Ittehad Council announced to observe a nationwide strike on Saturday to mourn the massacre of more than 40 people in three suicide bombings in Data Darbar .
The number of deaths in suicide attacks as Data Ganj Bukhsh shrine in Lahore has reached 43 on Friday, so that 185 wounded were admitted to various hospitals, officials here said Friday. Some 25 among the wounded were in a precarious state. Three suicide bombers attacked the Sufi shrine popular in a few minutes outside of Lahore late on Thursday, when hundreds of people who visit the shrine. Condemning the terrorist attack on Friday, Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has vowed to bring perpetrators to justice. High security alert was declared in the major cities of Pakistan after the suicide bombing, the first terrorist attack of its kind. Authorities said the alert in Karachi, Quetta, Peshawar and other major cities after the bombing. large contingents of police were deployed at key points in Lahore and strict control of vehicles and pedestrians has been started. Security has been strengthened in various places of worship in the city. Security has also strengthened in the mosques and the keys Imambargah for Friday prayers in Karachi. More than 4,000 men of Frontier Constabulary have been deployed in sensitive areas of Peshawar. In Quetta, police have been deployed in key entry and exit points of the city.
