Disease After Flood kills 167 in Philippines, At least 167 people have died in and around Manila in leptospirosis. The WHO experts to the Philippines has decided to help contain the deadly disease. The four-member WHO team will work with and advise local officials in the fight against leptospirosis. Parts of Manila and outlying areas are still flooded with standing water more than a month after Ketsana tropical storm dumped a record amount of rain in the capital.|
