Earthquake Jolts Hitted Parts of North East Guwahati: An earthquake measuring four on the Richter scale shook Guwahati, Shillong and other parts of North Eastern India on Sunday morning. There were no reports of any loss to life and property.

According to the Meteorological department, the quake was felt in several parts of the region at 7: 59 a. m. and the epicentre of the quake was located near Kamurp of Assam at 26.4 North latitude and 91.7 East longitude.
