KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr. Farooq Sattar has called upon the president, the prime minister, the interior minister and other high ups that the registration of the internally displaced persons (IDPs) entering Sindh, Punjab and Balochistan should be made mandatory.
Speaking to newsmen after attending the joint meeting of the MQM’s Coordination Committee here, Dr. Sattar said that movement of the IDPs should be restricted to relief camps so that Taliban could not sneak into cities in the cover of the affected people.
He demanded that the government should take measures to stop the growing activities of Taliban in Karachi.
He also called for strict action against drug and land mafias for supporting Taliban.
