Fehmida Mirza Says Body Formed to Implement Parliament Resolution

ISLAMABAD: Speaker National Assembly Fehmida Mirza here talking with the media announced a 17-member parliamentary committee for implementation of the resolution unanimously passed in the in-camera session of the parliament recently.
The committee comprised of Senator Raza Rabbani, Babar Awan, Asfandyar Wali, Fazlur Rehman, Ishaq Dar, Mehtab Abbasi, Waseem Sajjad, Sherry Rehman, Hyder Abbas Rizvi, Prof. Abdul Hyi, Abbas Yar Ali, Aftab Sherpao, Abdul Rahim Mandokhel, Mir Israr, Shahid Bugti, Maulana Samiul Haq etc.
Senator Raza Rabbani will chair the committee.
Replying a question about the powers of the committee, the speaker said that the committee members will decide about the powers of the body in respect to the US strikes in tribal areas. The members will devise the line of action, she added.
