FIA Unearthed 18000 Accounts in Forex Scam: Rehman Malik

KARACHI: Advisor to Prime Minister on Interior Rehman Malik revealed Thursday that government has unearthed more 18,000 bank accounts operated by Khanani and Kaliya group for transferring huge amount of dollar to abroad.
Talking to newsmen during his visit to FIA head-office, the advisor said the investigations against detained money exchangers in to forex scam case were heading in right direction.
A second FIR has been lodged against the operators of Khanani and Kalia International Ltd. in Karachi, he added.
The advisor declared that no proceeding will be carried out against those were doing their money-exchange business as per land laws.
