Former President Musharraf Arrives in UK on Private Visit LONDON: Former President Pervez Musharraf landed in Britain on Sunday for what is being described his private visit, his first after stepping down as President of the country.

Musharraf arrived at the Heathrow airport in London from Islamabad, reported A Pakistan News.

Officials of Pakistan Embassy in London received him on airport together with former President’s close friend, Brigadier Niaz, of his residency he is supposed to be stayed at.

Media organs reported that Musharraf is likely to deliver an address at London Cambridge University and will hold meetings with close friends during his visit.

Britain’s foreign office said it was not aware of any official reason for the visit, disclosed another news source.
