Funeral Prayers of Karachi Blast Victims Offered

KARACHI: The funeral prayers of 14 people martyred in Friday bomb attacks on a bus and Jinnah Hospital here were offered amid stringent security in Karachi today.Funeral Prayers of Karachi Blast Victims Offered

The funeral prayers were offered at RCD Ground Malir on Saturday led by Allama Kausar Abbas Naqvi. The prayers at Hussaini Mission RCD Ground Malir was attended by a large number of people including the leaders and activists of various political parties and religious groups of the city.

Fourteen deceased included five members of a family were Zameer Hussain, Anwar Abbas, Mohammed Ali, Babar Ali Hasnain, Anjum Hussain, Asif Hussain, Ahmed Hussain, Amir Hussain, Kazim Hussain, Shahanshah Hussain, Tauqeer Hussain, Salman Hussain, Zain Sohrab and Shahid Ali.

The funeral prayers were offered under stringent security in the area.

The funeral prayers of Muttahida Qaumi Movement union council nazim and other martyred party workers will be offered at Jinnah Ground in Karachi.

Meanwhile, police have registered FIRs of the double bombing in Karachi under anti terrorism act and arrested 20 suspects, sources said.
