Gisele Bundchen engaged to Tom Brady

Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen has finally said yes to footballer boyfriend Tom Brady after he popped the question to Bundchen here over the weekend.

31-year-old Brady proposed with a diamond solitaire to the 28-year-old Brazilian supermodel on Friday (January 9).

“He asked and she accepted,” a source close to the couple told ‘People’ magazine.

The family and friends of the couple were informed over the weekend of the engagement. After the engagement now the couple are planning the details of the wedding ceremony.

An official announcement is expected to come soon. “The couple is discussing a huge fashionista event in the spring or a more intimate and quicker ceremony in Costa Rica, where Gisele has a home,” the source adds.

The pair caused a tabloid frenzy in December last year when rumours about their engagement had spread and the pair had to release an official statement denying the media reports.

Bundchen was earlier dating actor Leonardo DiCaprio while Brady was romantically involved with actress Bridget Moynahan who he has a child with.
