Goody bids last goodbye to sons

The terminally ill reality star Jade Goody has bid final goodbye to her sons as she is not sure to see them again. “It’s horrible saying goodbye not knowing if I’ll see them again. I just want us to spend as much time together as we can,” a website quoted Goody saying in her weekly column in New! magazine.

“She has deteriorated so rapidly that the boys are unlikely to visit her again,” a friend was quoted saying by the Mirror in it’s online edition.

Goody’s mother Jackiey said the star was “clinging to life hour by hour” and remains heavily-sedated.

Her sons Bobby aged five and Freddy aged four, visited Goody for what was supposed to be an early Mother’s Day party. But it was cancelled as Goody was heavily-sedated and was unaware of what was going on.

“The boys went to see her and she was aware of them for a brief moment or two. She saw them and she smiled. She is unconscious most of the time now,” Goody’s spokesman Max Clifford said.

Meanwhile, the 27-year-old star also described the agony of never knowing when she would close her eyes for the final time, in her column.

Goody said she had “absolutely loved” making her TV series and apologised if the wedding scenes had made people cry. “I hope I’ve given you lots of laughs to remember me by,” she
said.
