Goody earns millions for wedding ceremony

Former reality show star Jady Goody, who is terminally ill, has reportedly earned more than USD 2 million from a deal with a magazine and television channel for her Sunday wedding ceremony.

The former ‘Big Brother’ contestant is suffering from cervical cancer and will take her wedding vows with her fiance Jack Tweed this weekend.

Goody has reportedly struck a deal with ‘OK!’ magazine to give away the exclusive rights for the full coverage of the ceremony.

The 27-year-old plans to marry in Down Hall, Hertfordshire on Sunday, and has chosen a country house hotel just eight miles from her home in Ongar, Essex for the reception.

Living TV, which is filming her struggle with cancer, also confirmed that it would be shooting the wedding as part of an ongoing deal to showcase Goody’s battle with the disease.

“I am going to die in this hospital (the Royal Marsden Hospital in Chelsea), so I don’t want to get married here. But wherever we tie the knot, I’m determined to walk down that aisle,” Goody told ‘The Sun’.

The mother of two said she had “lost her balance”, which the doctors were not sure was a sign of her illness or just general weakness.

“But I’m hoping I will have the strength to walk on my big day. It would be so cruel to be robbed of that one last thing as well,” she added.
