Latest news about Gordon Brown :- Gordon Brown was born on 20th February 1951. He was former prime minister of United Kingdom. According to information yesterday he gave indication of quitting from the presidential post of labour party. According to sources it is a dramatic move by a leader. His resignation announcement is strange for many politicians.
The move is done to start talks with the Liberal Democrats. He steps down to make the Liberal Democrats attract towards them. Now they are hopeful to start power sharing talks. The Conservatives are the majority party and they are dreaming to see David Cameron as Britain’s next Prime Minister. Brown makes statement at Downing Street and said it is in the nation’s interest that Labour and Liberal Democrats form a collation government. He further said that he will resign from the president seat of party and will not back any individual.
Brown announces his resignation after serious talks between senior Labour and Lib Dem figures earlier in the day. He is under pressure as labout party got a heavy defeat in last week general election. He is the one who is blaming for the defeat so he decided to step down. He wants Labour party to remain in power so he decided to quit his seat. Now we have to wait and see who will form collation government.
