Governor Punjab Taseer calls on Chaudhry brothers

LAHORE: Governor Punjab Salman Taseer called on Chaudhry brothers at their residence on Sunday and discussed with them the current political situation in the aftermath of governor rule in Punjab and the Supreme Court verdict about Sharif brothers.
According to tv source, in the meeting which lasted for about an hour, both the sides reviewed possibilities of future coalition between the Pakistan People’s Party and Pakistan Muslim League Quaid-e-Azam (PML-Q) to form a new government in Punjab.
Member of provincial assembly Monis Elahi was also present on the occasion.
Earlier, talking newsmen, he said a new chief minister would be elected after formulation of the alliance between two parties of Punjab assemble, adding that the session would be summoned if any party candidate proved his majority.
