Governor Punjab Taseer issues report on Punjab Govt Summaries

LAHORE: Governor Punjab Salman Taseer Tuesday issued a progress report over provincial government’s summaries and their approval.
According to the report, 97 summaries were received since May 16, 2008 to date, out of which 92 were singed by the governor.
The governor sent the summaries regarding the appointment of deans in Baha Uddin Zakriya University and University of Health Sciences Lahore back to the provincial government, terming them “against merit”, the report disclosed.
