Govt Has Failed To Control Non-State Actors: DG ISPR Athar Abbas

ISLAMABAD: Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Athar Abbas has said that militants were getting funds from various sources, while the state has failed in its attempts to control non-state actors.
Addressing a seminar here Monday, the army spokesman said the Swat operation has been halted. He maintained that army suffered heavy loss in Swat as according to him the miscreants were mixed up with local people in the valley. Abbas termed the public support vital for the military in case it carries out an operation inside the borders.
