Govt Trying to Locate Missing Persons: Rehman Malik

Federal Minister of Interior Rehman Malik has said the government was trying to locate and gather information about the missing persons adding that 416 persons have been missing in the country. He was presiding over a meeting of the Ministry of Interior on Saturday over the missing persons’ issue. Provincial police chiefs and home secretaries also attended the meeting, in which the list of the missing persons was reviewed in detail. Talking to media after the meeting the Interior Minister said the number of the missing in the lists received from Balochistan and other provinces was incorrect. “The law enforcement agencies have been directed to prepare the list,” he said.
