KARACHI: Muslim League-N leader, Javed Hashmi has said that he considered NWFP underway operation as Kargil-II and the democratic government after such operation falls.
Talking to newsmen on his arrival from Multan at the Jinnah Airport here, Javed Hashmi said that the government was making all major decisions without taking the allied parties into confidence, which would be harmful for the democracy. He said that the Karachi operation-1992 and Kargil operation were the decisions of one individual, while the then Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif was unaware.
Javed Hashmi said that ML-N has a policy of not accepting the dictation from US. Responding to a question, he said that the nation’s hopes relating to constitutional package and cutting down the prices have by now stand frustrated. The courts have been destroyed, he said. Hashmi said that ML-N didn’t agree with the People’s Party external and internal policies, yet they were working together for democracy.
