NEW DELHI:Hockey World Cup Trophy Unveiled in New Delhi, The trophy for the ensuing W
orld Cup hockey tournament-2010 was unveiled here.
Designed by Bashir Moojid of Pakistani Army, the trophy consists of a silver cup with an intricate floral design, surmounted by a globe of the world in silver and gold, placed on a high blade base inlaid with ivory.
Atop these are replicas of hockey stick and a ball.
Hero Honda Motors, India’s two-wheeler major which hosted this event also confirmed its corporate sponsorship of the World Cup 2010 tourney that is all set to bully-off on February 28 at the Major Dhyan Chand Stadium in New Delhi.
