I ll Never Get Out of This World Alive Lyrics, The Song “I’ll Never Get Out of This World Alive,” was written by Fred Rose and also American Country Music singer-songwriter, Hank Williams.

The song released in 1952, was the last song to be released in Hank’s lifetime. The song reached Number 1 on the Billboard Country Singles Chart, in January in 1953.

The co-writer Fred Rose died just a year after the song’s release.

The song meant to be humorous, took an additional poignancy following the mysterious death of Williams.

It has been convered by such artits Jimmy Dale Gilmore, Asleep at the Wheel, Jerry Lee Lewis plus others.
