India Day Parade NYC, 29th India Day Parade is one of the biggest independence day festivities in the states. With that being said, the Federation of Indian Association has gone all out to make this the most memorable celebration of Independence. This year’s parade being held on August 16 on Madison Avenue will be graced by Bollywood superstar Shilpa Shetty as the grand marshal. Along with her will be R&B artist Jay Sean, whose song ‘Down’ is listed as number 6 in the Hot Billboard 100 and in the top 5 list in iTunes. Also joining the festivities are Suzzane, a budding star from the Oscar-winning film ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ and singer Aishwarya of “Chhote Ustaad” fame.
