Indian Envoy Seeks Opening of Khokhrapar-Munabao Route

KARACHI: The construction work on Integrated Customs Check Posts (ICCP) at Wagha Border has been started by the Indian authorities and is Indian Envoy Seeks Opening of Khokhrapar Munabao Routeexpected to be completed before the end of 2011 reported by A Pakistan News.

This was stated by Indian High Commissioner, Sharat Sabharwal here at Pakistan Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI).

The Indian envoy said that the ICCP would be fully computerized and equipped most modern facilities after which the trade between India and Pakistan would be flourished.

Sharat Sabharwal said there is a trade potential of $10 billion between the two neighboring countries and it could easily be materialized if done through official channels.

He informed that the India had also suggested to open up the land route of trade between the two countries via Khokhrapar-Munabao route as well.
