Indus flooded: Sindh govt imposes emergencyIn view of the fast reaching flood, Sindh government has imposed state of emergency in the province and cancelled weekly holidays of employees of all the departments concerned.
Sindh Irrigation Secretary Shuja Junejo has said that as many as 148 places alongside the beach have been declared as sensitive while tren have been notified as ultra sensitive and the concerned staff has been deployed over there to cope up with any emergency. Sindh Irrigation Minsiter Jam Yousuf Allah Dharejo has said that none of the three barrages posed threat to Sind and hoped that the 7,000,000 cusecs flood would move over the province sans rendering any harm to the province. On the other hand, ten boats have been transported to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to salvage those stranded due to floods.
