Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at 7:55 pm
LONDON: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that the passage of Kerry-Lugar Bill by the US Senate with unanimous vote proved US’ broad-based commitment to the Pakistani people and stability of the country.
“Those who were against Pakistan are now helping us as they realize Pakistan is the biggest victim of ongoing spate of terrorism in the region,” Qureshi said while addressing a press briefing here Tuesday.
“International community is not asking Pakistan for ‘do more’ rather the US, EU and G8 group of countries are now more pathetic towards Pakistan,” he said on a query.
