Investigation Confirmed By ICC Of Ashes Claim

LONDON: The Ashes series is tied as the teams go into the final Test Cricket’s governing body, the ICC, says its anti-corruption unit is looking into claims linked to the Ashes series.
The International Cricket Council confirmed it was investigating after receiving a report from the Australian team management.
Cricinfo website reported an Australian player was approached after last month’s second Test by a man suspected of having links to illegal bookmaking.
The decisive final Test starts at The Oval, south London, on Thursday.
