Iran links US, UK, Pakistan to BombingTehran: Iran links US, UK, Pakistan to Bombing, The head of Iran’s powerful Revolutionary Guards accused the United States, Britain and Pakistan, on Monday of having ties to Sunni militants responsible for a suicide bombing that killed five senior commanders of the Guard and 37 others.

According to sources, the Iranian president said that those behind the attack on Sunday hiding in the Pakistan border, and a phone call to his Pakistani counterpart on Monday formally requested his detention.

The statements on Monday marked the first time Iran has publicly accused the intelligence services of neighboring Sunni support to the rebel group known as Jundallah or soldiers of God.

The head of the Revolutionary Guards General Mohammad Ali Jafari, promised Monday to deliver a “crushing” response.

“The new evidence was obtained to demonstrate the link between the terrorist attack on Sunday and the U.S., British intelligence services and Pakistani,” state television Jafari was quoted as saying.

He said the attack was “undoubtedly” planned and ordered by the intelligence services of the three nation and that soon a delegation will travel to Pakistan to give evidence.

“The presence of terrorist elements in Pakistan not be justified and that the Pakistani government has to help apprehend and punish the criminals as soon as possible,” state television quoted Ahmadinejad, says Zardari.

“We’ve heard that some officials in Pakistan to cooperate with the main elements behind these terrorist attacks and we consider it our right to demand of them these criminals” he was quoted saying.

Zardari telephoned Ahmadinejad strongly condemning the suicide attack.

Iran’s Supreme Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, pointed his finger at the United States, the sources said.

“This crime of the terrorists revealed the face of evil of the enemies of security and unity that are supported by the intelligence agencies of some arrogant government,” he said, using the term in Iran for the U.S.
