Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 7:51 am under World News Alerts

Iran has delivered its response to the queries raised by the Vienna group over a nuclear fuel swap deal proposed by Brazil, Turkey and the Islamic republic.
Irans response was handed to International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) chief Yukiya Amano in Vienna by Tehrans envoy to the UN atomic watchdog, Ali Asghar Soltanieh, the report said quoting Soltanieh. The letter was delivered to the director general of the IAEA Mr Amano at 2:00pm Vienna time, Soltanieh said. The world powers have cold-shouldered this proposal which itself is a counter-proposal to an earlier October plan brokered by the IAEA which hit deadlock with each group insisting on conditions unacceptable to the other. The Vienna group also raised questions about the Tehran Declaration to which Iran said it responded on Monday.
