Are wedding bells ringing for Hollywood heartthrob Johhny Depp? If a recent shopping spree is any proof, the answer seems to be a yes. The actor had a high-end Southern California jewelery store shut down so he could privately shop for engagement rings on December 10 and he made a “very large purchase” the ‘OK!’ magazine reported.
Depp and long time girlfriend French singer and actress Vanessa Paradis have two children together–9-year-old Lily Rose and 5-year-old Jack. The two had met in 1998 while shooting for ‘The Ninth Gate’.
“He looked at an assortment of classic solitaire diamond rings in platinum settings – a really beautiful selection of elegant and understated rings,” the sources of the magazine reported quoting sources.
The ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star had recently said, “I don’t feel like I need a piece of paper that says I own her and she owns me.” But the 45-year-old actor seems to have had a change of heart.
