Jaipur: 15 Coaches of Mandor Express Derail, 5 killed

Jaipur, INDIA: All 15 coaches of Delhi-bound Mandor Express got derailed near Bans ka Phatak, about 40 km from the western city of Jaipur, killing at least 5 persons and injuring 50 seriously. The railway officials said that the incident took place at 01:30 a.m. local time, as five air conditioned coaches, seven sleepers and three general coaches of the train plying between Jodhpur and Delhi got derailed at Jar or Jatwara railway stations. The injured people were taken out to hospitals near Jaipur while rescue workers used hydraulic cutters to cut into the overturned coaches.
